Get rewarded for the projects you are already building. Apply with email and your exact GitHub username; you can apply without a chosen project. Accept the published application terms and policies. Existing projects are reviewed before transfer. Approved builders join the organization and retain project direction. Any category and language are welcome, with a private build phase if agreed. Hackathons and outside activities remain welcome. OpenRoot helps promote member projects through the newsletter and socials, completely free of charge, without guaranteeing reach. Agree on a milestone and submit evidence for manual review. Eligible approved claims can choose available non-cash benefits. Initial EUR 50-1,000 AI model API credits for GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, plus one limited month of DeepLearning.AI, are reported by OpenRoot; final delivery and claim terms remain pending. Applications are open for review; the private portal is available to approved accounts.
